Geraint Barnes has recently been appointed to the band as Musical Director.  Geraint learnt his trade as a musician playing cornet for many brass bands around the UK and trumpet for many big bands as well as working in the pit orchestras of London's West End.  As a conductor Geraint has conducted several brass bands and big bands.

Geraint is also a sought after soloist on trumpet performing at many of the UK's and Europe's 1940s and vintage weekends.

On his appointment Geraint said "I am very excited to be the custodian of the band and I would like to thank the band's previous MD Geraint Hilbourne for all the work he has done".
